Grimoire
Last updated: October 14, 2026 · Studio privacy page
Grimoire is developed by LDF Interactive, an independent studio based in Italy. This policy applies to the Grimoire app on Android.
Nothing you create is sent to us. Characters, campaigns, game systems, library entries, notes and settings are saved locally on your phone. The app has nowhere to send them: there is no account, no server, and no sign-in.
Android itself is the exception, and it is worth knowing about. Unless you have turned it off, the system backs up app data to your own Google Drive, so a new phone can restore what the old one held. That copy is encrypted, does not count against your storage, and belongs to your account rather than to us — we cannot read it or ask for it. You will find the switch in your phone's settings, under backup, where it can be turned off for everything or for this app alone.
There is no advertising in the app, and no third-party SDK of any kind receives information about your device.
Importing and exporting go through your phone's own file picker, not through Grimoire. You browse your storage in that system screen, and the app is handed back the single file you chose — it never sees the rest, and never asks you to grant it access to your storage.
Grimoire makes no network requests of its own. The store listing still shows permissions for internet access, which comes with the framework the app is built on, and for checking whether you are connected, which the Tavern screen uses to tell whether a link will open before offering it. Nothing is fetched, and nothing is sent.
The app contains a small number of links that open in your browser, such as our website and the store page for leaving a review. Grimoire does not fetch anything itself: it hands the address to your browser, and your browser makes the request. From that moment the destination sees what any site sees when you visit it, your IP address included, and what it does with that is governed by its own privacy policy rather than this one. Ours is on the studio privacy page.
There is none. Grimoire carries no advertising, and no advertising SDK is present in the app at all, so no advertising identifier is read and nothing about your device is sent anywhere.
There are none. Grimoire sells nothing inside the app, asks for no payment details, and has no paid tier: every feature is available to everyone.
You can export everything at any time as JSON files using the export features built into the app. To delete your data, uninstall the app and since nothing is stored externally, it all goes with it. There is no request to send us and no form to fill in, because none of it was ever on our side. The one thing we can hold is an email you chose to send us, and that is covered below.
The app collects nothing on its own, but if you choose to email us to report a bug or ask something, we receive what you send: your address, your message, and anything you include with it. We use it only to reply and to fix what you wrote about, we never add you to a mailing list, and we delete the thread once it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it sooner. The studio privacy page explains this in full.
Grimoire is not directed at children, and is not listed in a children's category on any store. We ask for no personal information from anyone, at any age, and nothing you create in the app is ever collected.
If we update this policy, the revised version is posted on this page with a new date. Since we collect no contact details, we cannot notify you directly, so please check back periodically.
